Operation Christmas Child

Last year, we packed 740 Shoeboxes… thanks to you!

The Amazing Journey of a Shoebox Gift Begins with You and Results in Evangelism, Discipleship, and Multiplication.

What is Operation Christmas Child? Our mission is to provide children around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

What is the Purpose of Operation Christmas Child? Purpose. The world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child, uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.

How is New Beginning Involved? How Can I get involved? On November 18th-25th, NBCM will be transformed into Operation Christmas Child Shoebox drop off location.  You have the opportunity to check out a shoebox, pack it and return it with a 9.00 shipping cost. Your gift goes such a long way! Stop by our lobby to pick up your box, you will receive instructions on how to pack it and suggestions on what to pack for a child in another country. You can even track it to see what part of the world your gift will end up.
